everything smaller represents the tiny and often essential experiences of life and being human. We see ourselves as a dance company using movement to express what frequently leaves us tongue-tied. Our mission is to affect an audience through movement and music while establishing a marriage between entertainment and artistic expression. To expand our vocabulary as dance artists, we have decided to share the roles of artistic director, choreographer and dancer. The collaborative nature of our choreography, created in the minds and limbs of three people, is what makes our approach to dance making authentic and meaningful. Our processes are different but our motivations and ideals are the same. Our movement invention is a dynamic blend of partnering, lifts, and floor work created through improvisation. We have a release based style possessing strong athleticism, musicality, and a dramatic subtext. Working collaboratively affords us the opportunity of bringing three unique approaches to one idea.
