donnell turner grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and spent 15 priceless years dancing under Lemma and Glenda Mackie at Arts Together. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography in 2001. She attended the American Dance Festival in the summers of 1999 and 2001 and had the pleasure of performing as a guest artist with Chuck Davis' African American Dance Ensemble in the summer of 2002. Since moving to New York, Donnell has worked with Esse Aficionado, Kick Stand Dance's Cary Baker, Ani Weinstein, Teri and Oliver Steele, Carley Petesch, and Amy Chavasse. << Back
